Numbers are available for last month and the market is definitely heating up. The average price for a home that sold was over $700,000, the number of closings increased more than 13% from the previous month and more homes are for sale. Homes are taking longer to sell, though, most likely because some sellers are pricing too high and then reducing their prices to capture buyers attention. We expect prices to continue to rise throughout spring and summer.
