Millennials are Moving to Denver – and They Love Stapleton

They say there are about 80 million millennials – people born between 1980 and 1995 – so it’s probably unwise to paint them all with a broad brush. It seems clear, though, that many millennials love the Colorado lifestyle. A major moving company recently reported that Denver is the third most popular place for millennials to move. Just two American cities are drawing more millennials than Denver – Chicago and Dallas. U.S. News & World Report recently named the Mile High City as THE BEST place to live in the United States, so it’s no wonder millennials love it. We have a terrific quality of life here, with great weather, proximity to The Rocky Mountains, a thriving music and arts scene, every sport you can think of and a wide variety of housing in and around Denver.

Recently, I had the opportunity to help Luke and Cris, both millennials, buy their first home. They chose to live in Stapleton, where Luke is opening a restaurant. Homes for sale in Stapleton are popular with millennials and other people because of the community’s parks and other amenities, shopping and dining, closeness to downtown Denver and the variety of housing offered. Luke, Cris and I are featured in the video below, produced by Zillow, that describes what attracted them to Stapleton and why it’s so popular with millennials.
